I don’t like thinking about Christmas too far in advance.
But, a couple of years back, I got caught having to make most of my Christmas shopping very last minute, and I swore to myself “never again!”.
This year, I thought I would do something special. Since I’ve come to know many very talented artists through blogging, I decided I’d try to buy as many gifts as I can from their online shops!
That way, as I explained it to Chéri, we’d have lovely, handmade, unique gifts, coming from all around the world. On the plus side, we wouldn’t have to go through the trouble of fighting other Christmas shoppers at the mall, and we’d encourage wonderfull people to keep creating beautifull art!
So here are some of these incredible bloggers, and the link to their online boutique!
Irene, from Irenedesign2011. Irene sells lovely handmade jewelry from her Etsy Boutique, and can even make you a piece “sur mesure” if you’d prefer.
Carolina, from Yesterday After. Carolina’s amazing watercolor paintings are really worth a visit to her Etsy Boutique. I totally love her art, and someone’s definately getting a Carolina Russo for Christmas this year 😉
You might know the twisted humor of Little Fears, but did you know you could buy books, prints of some of the main characters or even shirts with your fav on it?? Visit Little Fears’ Threadless Shop to find out!
Last (for now) but not least, Sandra, from What Sandra Thinks. Another great discovery, especially since Sandra makes the cutest greeting cards. But that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Sandra also sells scarves, notebooks, journals, bags… So why don’t you just check it out for yourself on either (I’d try both, if I were you!) her Redbubble and Etsy online stores?
Do you have an online shop yourself? Remind me in the comments, and I’ll add you, and visit you for my Christmas shopping too! Don’t be shy… Help me, help you!!
I have an Etsy account, but haven’t gotten around to posting my handmade bookmarks yet, I guess I’m insecure that no one would like them.

If you don’t post them, you’re sure no one will be able to like them 🙂 Is there anywhere I can see an example? You can write to me in private if you’d prefer… I understand your doubts 🙂

I’ll take some images of the ones I currently have left (most I’ve given away as gifts) and PM you 🙂

Thank you so much! 🙂 Other than designing, I haven’t even thought about the holidays yet! I think I’m trying to put it off as long as possible… I find it to be a stressful time of year!

And I’m kind of unemployed… so money is tight. That makes the holidays kind of a downer. Although it shouldn’t be all about the money/gifts anyway. (But it sure seems like it is a lot of the time!)

Thank you so much for including me and my Art in your great post! You had a very nice idea to do this! The mention is very much appreciated! I have been so busy painting daily during October! I have participated to two very important challenges in the Art world, Inktober and Mabsdrawlloweenclub and this gave me the chance to produce a new collection of 30 paintings, they are now pretty much all listed on my Etsy Shop/CarolinaRussoArt also tonight I did a new update! Check it out! ❤

Thanks for these online stores. How difficult is it to open an on line store?
