Christmas fun…

It all started yesterday evening… With a nice dinner at my bestfriend’s boyfriend’s house… Nothing fancy, just finger food to nibble on while sipping on Pinot Noir, and playing board games! Good laughs, quality time, that lasted through the night.

I spent the night at J’s. Chritmas morning is time for crafting, and giggling over a strong coffee (for her) and a tall glass of milk (or me).

I don’t have much time, but here’s the fruit of our labor!

Now we’re heading to my mom’s to offer her some of our critters. It has become a tradition over the years. You’d be amazed how many ugly little things she holds on to, just because they came from me and J… Hehehehehehe

I might not write much today or tomorrow, with all the driving around, meeting friends and family. But I just want to wish you all a Merry Christmas… Filled with love, warm moments with your loved ones, and many nice surprises to bring a smile on your face!

I’ll answer your message as soon as I can sit down by myself again… In the meanwhile, enjoy yourself and leave a little note if you have a minute!

  3. I wish you a wonderful Christmas! Love the owls, by the way. I’ve been creating a quilt and some wreaths for people’s front doors this year…off to get some Noir now…I deserve it!

    The crafts you made are awesome. As an engineer, I’m fascinated by the dog and kitty. Were those from kits? Or patterns? Or freehand? Inquiring minds want to know. 🙂

      I had an overall very nice time with my best friend and my family, and I am now getting ready for the turn of the year celebrations 🙂 I hope you are enjoying a wonderful time with your loved ones also 🙂

      As for the crafts, I can’t take much credit as they came in a kit. We just assembled the two things together while chatting about all and anything. It has become a tradition between me an my bestfriend to spend Christmas morning doing simple crafts, bought at the dollar store… Maybe someday we’ll try something more challenging, but I doubt it 😛 The more childish it is, the most fun we seem to have LOL

      1. I’m glad you had a wonderful time! And yes, my Christmas was very merry, too.

        I love simple crafts. It is fun while you’re doing them and then you get a little rush from the feeling of accomplishment. It is even better when you can do it with friends and laugh and talk the whole time.

      2. I agree… keeping it at child-level allows us to have a great time instead of focusing on the craft itself 🙂 And Mom still would get impressed if we brought her match stick men 😛

        I must say, the 3D cat and dog impressed me, this year 🙂
