What better time to get the clipper out, and shave my furry beast, right? Chilliest time of year, and just before visiting grand-ma and her own two furballs!

Let’s just say I am a cruel mom! But rest assured… I got scratched and hissed at my fair deal, and I gave Freja a good reason to be grumpy! She can thank me later.

Just wait until she finds out there’s a round 2 for the belly part… That should be epic!

In case I wouldn’t make it alive, or loose one or both hands in the process, I’d just like to wish you all a very merry Holiday season (except Ben, may you have the bitterest Christmas ever, Ben!) and tell you that it’s been quite an adventure, and I really enjoyed my experience as a wannabe blogger!

    1. Thank you very much for your gentlemanness, Giant! Note that I didn’t even use said crude joke in my title, just to get dirty men’s attention 😛

      I have to shave Miss Freja from time to time, because her wool-like fur gets very tangled when she sheds… And being the sweet Tazmanian devil that she is, I never managed to get her used to be combed properly.

      4. yeah, nahhh I’ll pass on that… She already took a couple of swings at me, with all claws out (of course) and I think I’ll let the scratches heal before I give her another free round!

  2. You’re braver than I. You realize she’s gonna pay you back at some point. Pooping on your bed or killing you in your sleep, something like that. I’m convinced cats could take over the world if they really wanted to. 😃

    1. I agree… and I think they are doing it, taking control of one human at a time…

      But I as long as I can keep the food bag out of her reach, I know she’ll spare my life! Unless my bf betrays me, and joins the dark side of the Force!

      2. Indeed! The Dark Side needed a cute factor to lure people in… Power just isn’t as cool as it used to be! I for one, would never join to be powerfull… But if they have kittens…. 😛

      3. Power is overrated, and fleeting. These fools think the reign will last forever. When in reality, it always ends with them being despised and in a box. Humans never seem to learn. But, like you said, if there’s kittens….. 🤔

    1. I thought about it, but the “dents” in the glove wouldn’t go deep enough into her fur… But you’re making me think that I could try to make her comfortable with the combing that way, and then maybe switch with more appropriate combs…
