The butterflies go to and fro
And dance between the flowers
They gently hover on the mist
That forms in passing showers
They dream all day
Of those they’ve kissed
For daydreams last for hours
Dreaming as they turn and twist
Of a love that never sours
Awww Dear Brutus… This made my week 🙂 When I posted this short (to say the least) poem, I wouldn’t have dared to wish you would have responded to it with one of your little gems… I love your words, I have loved them for a long while. Thank you for keeping an eye on my dormant blog xx

Is that her poem or your interpretation? Since I can’t read or speak French?

I’d like to think that it’s a bit of both Kim – my French is not great either.

Oui, Richmond est bien doué et peut toujours rajouter un “spin” avec ses propres poemes, eh? 😀

Je suis tout à fait d’accord 😉

Brutus is great at taking a rock and polishing it. Even when I write in French, apparently 😉 Here is my best translation of the poem:
I would spend
All spring long
My head resting
On your heart…
Watching butterflies
Making love
To flowers
In the park…
