For all these times

when I just struggle

to keep my sorry soul

away from harm, away from trouble…

 

For all the days, all the

seemingly endless nights

I battle, I bicker, knowing

I obviously can’t win all fights…

 

For all the worried moments

I force upon you

aware that although you’d

like, there’s not much you can do…

 

Keep that little light on…

And even when everything’s falling apart,

keep it on, so I know how

to find my way home… Back to your heart.
