Anyone wants to play with me?
I was brainstorming about what to do in The Cove today. I wanted to do something new, something special, and something that would be somewhat interactive… And I had this idea, that might not work, but hey! Won’t work anyway if I don’t try first, right??
So, you might have heard about cadavre exquis before. (Exquisite cadaver, exquisite corpse or rotating corpse in English) It is the exercise of writing a piece of story, and giving just the last sentence, or the last few words to another person, who writes another part, and so on. You then put all the pieces together to get a weird, yet interesting tale.
I tried it with poetry in the past. It is fun and surprising… And I was curious to know if some of you Lovelies would come out to play??
If so, just email me by clicking here and let me know you want to participate… I’ll send you the sentence to start with, and when I have everybody’s piece, I’ll put them together in a post, and (of course) give credit to the different players!
There is no rule as to how long your piece of the puzzle has to be, or what style you have to use. You can write about anything that comes to your mind, anything the sentence inspires you… As long as it is Cove friendly, of course!
So… I’ll be waiting for your replies. This should be fun!
Update: We have five participants so far… Me (of course), Colin, Suze, The Bag Lady and Urban Liaisons… The challenge is still open! Join in! The more writers, the funnier this story will be in the end! Mouahahahahahaha
Update: I have started the collage, and I am impressed at how “not so absurd” things are so far… Still hoping to add more names to the participants list 🙂
You know I’m always up for a bit of fun😉
