I hate waking up at 4 am.
People shouldn’t have to do that for work. There, I said it…
You want to wake up way too early to go jogging or take your time preparing breakfast, or knit, or learn Japanese, or arm-wrestle with your loved one? Fine! But no job should require people to wake up at 4 am.
No job. No exception. Ever. I bet Bitter Ben would back me up on that one!
If I ever rule the world one day, that’s the first thing I’ll change.

I don’t mind working the night shift, I actually enjoy it. But very early shifts kill me… We have a saying in French “L’avenir appartient à ceux qui se lèvent tôt” – “Future belongs to early birds”… Pffff…. 😛

I call bullshit on that. The world belongs to those up plotting all night

I can only agree and specially in winter time, where all are so dark.

Exactly… we’re not even done with days getting shorter and the sun won’t rise before 7h30… I mean, if the sun is allowed to sleep in, why am I not? 😛 LOL

4am is really only 10am here in your favorite country. Think of how many Danes were enjoying their 10am coffee with Danish – Ha Ha. I’m pretty sure, they haven’t thought about those poor unfortunates that have gotten up at 4am, which by the way is only 1am on the Pacific West Coast! Party On Dude and Dudette!

LOL Good point. I wish I could actually “feel” six time zones away when the alarm clock rings at 4. I’ll have to practice… then again… Naaaa.
The only good reason I found to rise up with dawn, is to enjoy vacation days LOL

I wonder if 4am knitters actually exist. That seems like a pretty keen hour for knitting.

Mouahahahaha it just came out when I wrote it, and now you made me sit down and think about it… And I am starting to wondering too!! LOL I used to knit a lot… but I didn’t enjoy it enough to set an alarm clock on a day off work though… 😛

Well, to be fair I don’t think people that want to learn Japanese at 4am either, as I said, that’s pretty a pretty keen time of the morning for hobbies aha. I can’t knit, I’ve tried so hard to do it but couldn’t figure it out so now I croquet. Also that sucks that you have to get up at 4am 😦

Ohhh I wanted to try crochet, but my first attempts were terrible, so I stuck to knitting instead!
I agree, it extends to all hobbies 😉 (thinking about people number painting at 4am mouahahahahahaha)

I refuse to wake up at 4 am…and I hereby give you permission to sleep until 6. Just tell your boss the Evil Queen of Suziland gave you permission. that should work.
