It’s been a while, since I last talked about Greenland, which does not mean that I gave up wanting to add its flag to my collection.
Not even close.
If you are not a regular in The Cove, you have to know that I don’t make a big fuss about my blog’s statistics. I do enjoy busy days, but I just couldn’t focus on numbers and keep (half) sane.
So, I long decided to give all my attention to the country flags in my stat’s page. It is always exciting to see a new one pop out, and it makes my day when that happens…
Here is my world map covering, as of this afternoon;
As you can see, Greenland still hasn’t shown up, which is quite annoying to me. So annoying, that I even considered finding a Greenland blogger, writing to them and asking them to visit The Cove.
But that wouldn’t be fairplay.
You don’t know where Greenland is? Don’t worry, I have brilliant friends that have rather creative brains when it comes to geography… So here it is;
First, I thought about just switching my attention towards another place that hadn’t visited me yet… But I can’t give up Greenland.
So I figured that, maybe, just maybe, Greenlanders might be competitive people. They want a challenge? Alright…
Lovelies, meet Svalbard! (For some reason, I have a feeling you might not know where that is…)
Svalbard is a Norwegian territory made of nine main islands. Just like Greenland, Svalbard’s about 2700 people have snobbed The Cove so far.
So far…
Because Greenland and Svalbard are both Viking lands. And Vikings all have conquerors’ genes. Or so I hope.
The race is on!
(Don’t disappoint me, Greenland!)

Maybe write some entries dedicated to Greenland and why you want to visit (or if you’ve been lucky enough to visit?). Reasons why Trump should not buy Greenland defending Greenland against him. Good luck getting a visit from Greenland!

Well, I just looked at my stats for the life of my blog (10 years) and bot one visit from Greenland. So that settles it. They don’t have internet. Anyone who said they had one? It was a phantom occurrence! 😁

Thank you very much 🙂 Yes, I love taking a look at my collection and finding out I have a new flag. I’m planning on buying one of these world maps you can scratch countries one after the other, and frame it when it’ll be fully scratched 😉
