I was working all day, and had my share of this and that throughout the long shift, so I’ll take a day off from storytelling today.
I have not arrived in Aalborg yet, in my travel blog. But I was reminded of the city by my good friend, Notthedane56 when he shared this picture with me this morning…

Aalborg has a lot of street art to offer to visitors willing to keep an open eye while walking, biking or riding around town…And since I don’t really feel like writing too much, I thought I’d show you the pics I took in September… So here’s a little tour around Aalborg, Denmark’s third biggest city.

Karolinelund used to be an amusement park downtown Aalborg. Since it closed, people have taken over the place and transformed it into an open air art museum…

Voilà! Hoping you enjoyed your speed visit of some of Aalborg’s street art….
Cool photos

Thank you 🙂 Next time I visit, I am planning on taking the walking street art tour of the city… The paintings in Karolinelund are more the work of amateurs, but there are many large professional murals like the first pictures, around the city 🙂

While scrolling through the post I couldn’t help but think how much you must’ve walked to get such a variety of photos. I like the one of the guy on the parking building.

I like it a lot too… Some people have so much talent! It is crazy…
And yes…. I walk a lot when on vacation! I think Chéri was surprised, when he had to follow me during our trip in September! In DK I become an early bird, and I stroll around until I just need to rest…
I considered taking my podometer with me, just to calculate exactly how much I had walked, last vacation, but I was afraid the poor thing would burnout 😛

Only one day… Hmmm are you traveling alone, with your family? Will you have a car, or traveling by train/bus?

I’ll get back to you a little later today (getting ready for work atm) but I’ll just say for now, that if you get a chance to walk by Slotsbageren on Boulevarden, it is definately a must!! They have the best chokolade boller I have ever had!
