Open House Party – The results

meet_greet_blank

Dear Lovelies,

As many of you know, we held a great Meet & Greet party in The Cove this weekend. I attented many parties like it along my months as a blogger, and I always enjoyed being in contact with the people I read on a regular basis, and meeting new faces. This was my first attempt at hosting such a party! And what better way to get exposure and discover inspiring and fun people?

There is nothing wrong with writers who don’t enjoy to mingle. We all have our own way to blog around. But I like getting to know others live (or almost). I wanted to thank everyone of you who took the time to join in, if only for a comment or two, and those who reposted my link, to bring more people to the party!

I wish I could write a little something about every person present. But you’ll see from the list that it would have taken me an enormous amount of time, and I didn’t want to postpone this post. So here it is, in no particular order…

Thanks to all of you, for making this weekend so much fun! You are one bunch of incredible men and women, and you are all very dear to me!

      1. I am taking a little time answering the messages left over the night, but I am heading to Fishboy 2 & 3 right after that πŸ™‚ I’ll make sure to comment!

Btw, I was wondering…. Red wool… was that your work too?

  1. We all had a marvelous time Cyranny…obviously you throw great parties. I found a few blogs that I am now stalking anda few found me. I think it was the coleslaw I made that got me that support actually…Colin’s Haggis was a bit much for most of us. Especially when he said how to make it! (double euuuuuuu). Just kidding there….we all had a great time though.

    1. Your coleslaw is a total must for any party, Suze… And mixed with Brett’s music, and Count Gustaf’s riddles, I think it set everyone on fire! Good thing we had a few firemen guests πŸ˜›

Thanks for taking part of this, it was an amazing first time!! xx

  2. Fun! Looks like a successful party. I don’t get on wordpress over the weekend often. So I tend to miss the best parties. Thanks for posting the links. I’m still going to check a few out from here πŸ™‚

    1. It was quite a blast, Lacey! Sorry you were offline, but the links are still there to visit, indeed πŸ™‚ I might try to throw a middle-of-the-week party next time… That’s something that doesn’t happen often, could be fun!

      I hope you’ll have a great week πŸ™‚ xx

    1. Don’t worry, Nikki…. there will be others, and they’ll be announced a little bit ahead next time!! This one was arranged at the very last minute, and to be quite frank, I didn’t expect it to work this well…. I am almost afraid of arranging a party “dans les rΓ¨gles de l’art” LOL

I’ll make sure to drop you a line when I do, though πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ xx have a fabulous week!!

    1. I really want to give you all as much exposure as I can… You’ve all been so kind to make such a success out of this very first Meet & Greet in The Cove!

Muaahhhh! *Doing my best happy dance (and God knows it’s not because of hockey πŸ˜› πŸ˜› :P)*

      1. Haha, I wish it was, they just can’t keep their spirits up. I groan every time the stop skating and shooting, if I see they aren’t doing this by at least half way through the second, it usually means they’ve already lost. How’s Montreal playing? Better I hope 🀞.

      2. Ohhh nope! we’ve had a couple of good games just before the Holidays, and then things went downhill again… Not disastrous, but bad enough that it is no more fun watching the games with my bf… He lost all feeling of hope, sports-wise, and I feel like I have to provide counseling after each game the Canadiens loose! LOL

      3. Haha, it’s true, guys take it hard. Edmonton fans can be terribly rough on their team too. A couple games a go some guy threw his jersey on the ice. It can be depressing but I still have to have hope and support your team, even in down times. Maybe we can spur some Canadian luck and find a good finish for our teams. I think if they both had at least a fighting chance for the playoffs it would be okay.

      4. I am the “it ain’t over ’till it’s over till the fat lady sings” kind of girl…. If I’m to watch the games until they get eliminated, I sure won’t watch them expecting my team to lose!

I also like to be able to tell the annoying “I told you so” to my bf, when we win unexpectedly πŸ˜› Mouahahahahahahaha Bad girl, I know πŸ˜›

      5. Haha. Yep that feels good. My one friend married a Saskatchewan CFL football fan and a Toronto Hockey fan; I’m pretty sure this will be a source of many arguments in their marriage lol. She’s a born and raised Eskimo fan and an Oilers fan of course πŸ˜‰ But he could have been a Flames/Stampeders fan and that’s much worse. Cheers to our teams making it in the playoffs, last place is fine with me πŸ™‚

      6. Wow talk about trouble waiting to happen πŸ˜› Mouahahahaha At least, my bf and I cheer for the same team…. And football wise, he can root for any team he pleases, I just can’t watch that on tv LOOL
