Hold my hand, dearest, won’t you?

She wasn’t really afraid, but she felt tension building up, as the light started fleeing from the skies… She knew he wouldn’t leave her until it would be over, and it was enough to keep her soul at peace.

Come here…

His deep voice was even more inviting than his request, and she sootched against him. He wrapped himself around her frail body and she sighed, as she lay her head on his shoulder. His arms were the only armor capable of protecting her from this sick world, and she was glad to wear it as the moon continued its run before the sun.

For anyone catching a glimpse of their melted together silhouette, they remained silent for what felt like hours. In fact, their heartbeats were exchanging confidences, their breaths screaming their secret love for each other.

She hesitated, but seeing that time was running up, she leaned up to his chin, pressing her trembling lips on his skin. Kissing her way up his jawbone, she whispered to his ear.

Make love to me…

The rest of her intentions were left to interpretation, in the warm breath she blew on his cheek. He stayed still for a second, before moving aside, to help her lay down in the tall grass.

His kisses, and nervous caresses gave her a tingling feeling, that ran from her toes to her head… But when his large hand slipped under her long skirt, running up from her ankle to her thigh, she moaned for him to keep on going.

She ached for him to take her all… Yearned to be his, if only for this short moment. Most people had sex just to please their senses. When she felt his blissful thrust, she knew she was finally whole. They were connected, combined, they were one, at last…

The moon slowly stealing the sun’s glory was the only sign time hadn’t been suspended. Their entwined bodies rolled and rocked gently, hands and lips waltzing on the other’s skin. As the skies turned to total darkness, she pulled his hips against hers, an ultimate bolt of extasy stricking her as she screamed his name.

Then, all went silent, except for his hard breathing, in the gloom.

And when the first rays of light escaped the moon’s silhouette, she was gone. Leaving him in dismay.

    1. Thank you ๐Ÿ™‚ I’m glad you enjoyed it… I am not too comfortable with this kind of stories, it really takes me out of my comfort zone, and it is comforting to get positive feedback ๐Ÿ™‚ xx

      1. I’m a retired school teacher and coach, a grandfather of two and just wrote a romantic novella with several “adult situations.” I truly understand your discomfort. You have nothing to be uncomfortable about.

      2. Well thank you for the kind words ๐Ÿ™‚ I really like the term “adult situations”. It does feel a lot more comfortable than “erotic stories” for an example. I also think that the fact that English is my second language plays a part in my discomfort, because putting this kind of scene into words would probably come a lot easier in French…
