This Which Way challenge is all about capturing the roads, walks, trails, rails, steps, signs, etc. we move from one place to another on. You can walk on them, climb them, drive them, ride on them, as long as the specific way is visible. Any angle of a bridge is acceptable as are any signs.
There won’t ever a topic to this challenge. All you need have is the “way” visible and the main focus of your photo. Here is a list of acceptable “ways”:
- Roads: gravel, asphalt, cobbled, dirt, freeway, expressway, highway, bridges
- Indoor walkways: hallways, aisles, people movers
- Outdoor walks: sidewalks, paths, trails
- Stairs, elevators, escalators, or steps: indoors, outdoors
- Railway tracks, monorails, ski lifts
- Runways and tarmacs
- Ferry’s, canals and locks
- Parking lots, private driveways
- Tunnels
- Signs of any kind: directional, informational, store signs, wind vanes
- Maps that are posted as signs

Here’s my take on it this week;

New Champlain Bridge, seen from the highway.
I don’t know if everybody else has the same reflex, but whenever I come across a major building, a special church or an impressive bridge, I can’t help but stop for a moment, and wonder how it was to witness the rising of a structure meant to stand the test of time.
Wouldn’t it be cool to see history in the making?
It so happens that the city of Montreal is building a new bridge right now. It is not a cathedral, a pyramid or a huge skyscrapper, but it is still impressive to drive by the building site.
I wish I had been able to catch a closer shot of the bridge, but the car was going at a speed of 100 km per hour, and framing it in a cool way was impossible this time.
Oh, and of course, I need to mention this… One of the main people in charge of the project is Poul Ove Jensen, and yes, Mr Jensen is a Dane!
May I enter my picture tomorrow please?
I do enjoy watching the istory unfold of something you believe will last over the course of time. Gorgeous picture!
You bring up history in the making, that’s what it felt like watching over the years the new Trade Center being built. I still remember when the Twin Towers opened up to the public, then came crashing down that horrible day.

Love it. I do the same thing with structures. Thinking mostly, “How in the world….”. Thanks a bunch joining in. 😊
