I think The Internets are trying to change the world we used to know. I am not sure yet… I don’t want to jump to conclusions, but this is getting weirder and weirder.
First, this past Monday, I learned that Australia didn’t exist. I mean, if the World Wide Web told me that Pitcairn Island didn’t exist, or maybe a remote small town in Northern Canada, I might have bought it without much doubting, but Autralia???
The thing that confused me was that the news came from Momma from “A Momma’s View”. I trust Momma, and she was supposed to be in Australia. Her very serious-looking post, All Fake explains how this has been a hoax all these years.
No Aussie friends.
Now… Tonight, I was chatting with Sonofabeach96 when I felt I had to make a research for Mother Nature’s phone number and adress. (no, don’t ask why… It’s a long story) I opened my browser, found our Canadian phone directory website, and did a research with the name “Nature”. I didn’t put any first name, doubting she’d be listed under “Mother”…
Here’s what I got:
You don’t see it?
There is no nature to be found in Canada! Now, if that’s not a fraud, I wonder what is!?!
So don’t plan your vacation here, if you are hoping to climb a mountain, go rafting, or just hicking in the great Canadian forests! Don’t expect to see bears, or daisies, or pretty rocks. I am not even sure if we have clouds hanging in the sky!!
I am sorry.
