Lying in the tall grass, enjoying the warm spring breeze, she listened to the birds’ love songs, while he had eyes only for her.
The bird sang again. She giggled.
She didn’t know much about her feathery friends… She sure couldn’t name many of them, but this melody was very familiar. Familiar, but terribly out of tune.
Rolling in the grass, he wrapped his arm around her waist lovingly. Pulling her close, he whispered to her ear…
The birdie doesn’t need to worry. I can’t sing, and you still love me!
