Dear Lovelies,

2021 is now over, and I know that many of you are glad that it is. At the end of 2020, we had all put high expectations in the new year… And let’s face it, there were many reasons to be disappointed.

I hope that, as we stand in front of this blank page, waiting to be filled with new memories, you still are optimistic enough to embark 2022 with a smile and an open heart!

Because, although we are still struggling with the effects of the pandemic, worldwide, we all have little victories to celebrate. And I am sure there are many more coming your way. It really is just a matter of time.

I’d like to thank all of you Lovelies, who stood by me and kept visiting The Cove, despite my flickering inspiration. Working on my blog on a daily basis certainly helped me staying sane during this odd odd year. Special thanks to my Skypy Friday friends! I started these chatting sessions back in 2020, hoping to help people that might feel isolated, and it turned out probably helping me the most! Catching up with all and every one of you, week after week, or occasionally, has given me something to look forward to, for the past 20 months!

I raise my glass to all of you Lovelies, and wish that 2022 will bring you light at the end of the tunnel. I wish that your year will be filled with love. I hope it will provide you with what you need the most (even if you don’t know it yet). I hope it will keep you and your loved ones well and safe…

Here’s to a jolly good new one! Filled with more giggles than tears, more sparkling eyes than worries, and happy memories shared within our very special online family!
