Doo, doo doo…
During winter, here, the sky is almost always covered with a thick blanket of grey clouds. I won’t complain, since the temperature is usually warmer (exactly the effect a blanket should have, wouldn’t you say?).
So when the sun suddenly peeks out, we all turn towards it, like winter sunflowers, reaching for every bit of warmth!
This picture made me smile all the more, since I read just yesterday, a post from the blog A Dad trying to cope with the loss of his Partner and becoming a single parent (give me a second to catch my breath here) called Strange Yellow Thing.
It seems like I am not the only one who craves a little sun wink, every now and then…
Many of us do crave it.

Oh yes… we’re in the middle of another snow storm as I write this. Time to prepare some hot chocolate, wrap ourselves in a blanket and hope to see the strange yellow thing soon again 😉

Indeed… I love summertime, but I never appreciate the sun as much as in the middle of winter 😉
