Walk a garden once, your are a visitor. Walk it twice, and you belong there…
Oooh… Ooohhh…Who are you? – Coo the turtledoves on the neighbour’s rooftop.
Who am I? Good question.
A passer by… An observer. An alien in motion, watching, listening, feeling, tasting everything so foreign. Even if I have walked the streets around my borrowed garden before, they still have this new feeling under my soles.
I sit in silence and listen to the turtledoves, watching from above. The skies are uncertain. Patches of blue mix with menacing grey clouds, looking like a weather lottery. Will it rain? Maybe. If it does, chances are I’ll get a rainbow again, which is well worth the shower…
Winds shake the leaves of the trees around me, but the garden walls don’t allow them in. It still looks and smells of Summer, until I turn around and see the bright red apples glistenning with dew, ready to be picked.
Ready to fall… Ready for Fall…
Autumn is here, and it is time to leave yet another garden that was temporarely mine. Hoping the next one will be as welcoming.
Hoping…
I like this.

Thank you 🙂 I love to have a little place like that to sit and just think, early in the morning, while on vacation…

It’s always good to have some place to go for some “me time”

True, and you have your own little garden, which is pretty lovely itself 🙂 Do turtledoves greet you too, when you get out early in the morning? If not, I’d recomment getting two of them, they are quite entertaining 😉
