Hmmm…

Today is a weird day.

I am just incredibly emotional for no particular reason… I didn’t notice when I woke up, but it was already work-in-progress, and when I got to the office, it just punched me in the face Muhammad Ali’s style.

So I’ve been on the edge of sobbing for absolutely no reason all day! I thought I’d dive into Pippa’s book (yeah, she writes too, and I have the chance to be her guinea pig, so I can read her work before she decides to spread her good words all over the world!) but I couldn’t concentrate enough to get myself into the story…

I tried to write a post, and ended up with several little things unfinished… Some fooling around, some update concerning my Danish self-learning, a post in French… Nothing seemed to really go anywhere. So I let the keyboard for a while too.

I ate a little soup, I watched outside the window… Today was the perfect winter day. The sun was bright and warm, the temperature was more than comfortable. Actually, I looked up a few cities in my weather application, and turns out we had the same temperature as in Svendborg, a nice city on Fyn Island… I wished there was some way to switch cities that shared the same climate!

I read a lot of new posts from my building up list of fav bloggers… But kept myself from making comments. I usually write straight back when I read something I like… But I wouldn’t have honored my fellow bloggers if I had let my fingers do the talking.

On Facebook, aside from the Danish cyber pollution, my speciality once was reminding my “friends” of the International day of something daily. It was a task I had at heart, because not everybody is aware of International Kidney day, World day of not being on fire or such… I thought I’d do the same here… And I was so disappointed in myself.

I have been posting a little less on FB since I started posting a little more here! And my daily International Day job got neglected a little bit… And I found out today that yesterday was the International Bird Day! I can’t believe I missed it… I so would have spent my whole day wishing everybody “Happy Bird Day!” But Bird Day is gone now… and won’t be back for a year! Dang!

Today is Cuddle up day! I’d like to… I have my list of people I’d enjoy cuddling up with. But I am at work, and the only colleague I could cuddle up with is not too cuddly. And he does boxing training too, so I will keep all my affection to me! I’m sending a virtual hug to Pippa, and Papa Bear while Mamma Bear isn’t looking… And to Italy, the US and even Kenya… Cuddles to Jonas and Mads too, for making my dreamland so fun to retrieve to… Et stort knus til ræven… And the rest I’ll keep for my boyfriend and my little furry ball at home!

A little bird (Dang! I missed International Bird Day!!!) told me someone had noticed the vanishing of some of my work… I just wanted to mention that I never erase what I write… I just store it elsewhere. This come and gone post was just too serious. I am not one who takes myself seriously, and when I let myself talk about politics or such serious matters, when I re-read myself, I just end up thinking; “Why? You have absolutely no credibility talking about such important things… Go back to drunken kings winning Islands over a game of poker!” If my writing in French can interest some people, and anyway, this is my cove, I can do whatever I please… I might post a few things, here and there, 100% Français. Feel free to post something in your own countries’ languages too! I’d enjoy that…

I should have written earlier… Now I am preparing this supersized post about all and nothing, and I just noticed I could very easily put the Kleenex box back in its drawer.

Ok, “pathetic girl” alert! Really, I am… (and I can’t believe I will post it to prove my point!) I was nibbling on sesame sticks as I was writing, and something caught my eye and made my heart skip a beat… (make sure you are well seated, you wouldn’t want to fall down…)

Proof I ate sesame sticks…

Proof I am pathetic.

Yeah… on the second picture, if you look at the last thing visible before getting in the pinkish part of the package… You can see the beginning of the ingredients IN DANISH!!!  To my defense, this is particularly rare in Quebec. We have French and English on packaging… Sometimes Spanish…. But Danish? Never! Well, almost never now!!

Oh well… At least it made me smile!
