I know, it’s been quite a while since I last put a token in my jukebox.
But better late than never again, I guess, so here we go again.
I’ve discovered Scarlet Pleasure when I first watched Druk, one of Thomas Vinterberg’s great movies, staring Mads Mikkelsen (sigh). The Danish band is better known for the film’s anthem What a life. But since, I’ve dug deeper, and they have definately made it into my top ten favorite bands.
Recently, Chéri has brought up the fact that I could start planning a new trip to Vikingland for next spring. Of course, nobody knows what’ll happen during this winter, but it was the breath of fresh air that I think I needed.
Since, I’ve been soaking myself in all and everything Danish again, and of course, I’ve binge listened to Scarlet Pleasure’s songs.
And Better really resonates with how I feel nowadays. So I thought I’d share it with you, just in case you feel that way too.
