me too. When teens whine I always want to tell them to pull their heads out of their nether regions.their parents don’t appreciate it though so I grit my teeth and snarl instead. lol
Ohhhh Joy!! (your name, not the feeling… LOL) You’ll probably agree that most chips crunchers enjoy eating one chip at a time, and taking many annoying bites each time. CHIPS ARE BITE-SIZED, STUFF THEM IN YOUR TRAP, AND CHEW WITH YOUR MOUTH CLOSED… PLEAAAAAAAAAAAAASE! LOL
Ugh… Excellent one, Caramel!! Luckily, I now have a stable working schedule that allows me to sleep until 7 AM. But I used to work at 5 am every now and then, and I haaaaaaaated the sound of the alarm clock with a passion.
For me, it depends on the child, and the situation… But being stuck in a plane with a crying young child is a torture. I am always tortured between the understanding that the kid is not annoying on purpose, and the fact that all the crying is ruining my flight π
I agree, situation matters. For me, it’s being stuck on a crowded bus with a mom and a child occupying the front seats while the child screams and cries (maybe he/she is claustrophobic???) For someone who’s had a long day at work or school and just want to go home, listening to this child’s wail is torturous.
That’s something I totally relate to… Everybody gets annoyed with loud noises, but focusing on the subtle repeated sounds will drive you crazy! And make you look crazy when you tell others ”isn’t that clock just maddening??” π
Hahahahahaha… I agree. Loud isn’t aloud in our apartment, unless I’ve had the time to wake up peacefully and drink my hot chocolate. After, I’m quite open when it comes to music, but there is one thing that doesn’t make the cut, even when I’m fully awake. Russian death metal is off my list. Nope. Just can’t take it.
whining children or teens. hate it.

I totally agree, Joy… We can excuse young kids a lot easier, but teen whining is very annoying π

Same, but repetitive beeping is the worst ~ like when trucks back up or a store alert keeps going to page an employee π‘

A child crying. I can’t stand it, the sound makes me want to pull my hair out. I guess I’m not meant to be a parent.

A fan. Or a clock ticking. Normal people just forget about those sounds after a while… I canβt

Loud music, especially heavy metal, before I have had breakfast. After breakfast and my cup of tea I can take it but never before.
