If you’ve been a regular of The Cove for a while, you might know that I love a good picture battle! I used to harass OM with my silly photographies, but I was afraid to get served a restriction order, so I gave him a break.
But this time, Basil René engaged the (virtual) fight, after my post about the yeast shortage. Little did I know that Basil is a professional chef, and therefore, my defeat will be no surprise.
But I still enjoy a good challenge. And here’s my (first) take at it:
My loaf is nowhere near ”fancy”, but it a good attempt, I think, especially since I had never bake any before covid-19 hit us.
It is a simple recipe, but if anyone wants it, just let me know and I’ll add it at the end of this post. And if you too are making bread during this lockdown, please visit Basil’s post and link your own bread pictures to it!

Nice looking bread C! What I love with regular bread is you can eat it while it is still warm, with butter! Yum 😋
With GF bread you have to wait for it cool before you slice.

Really? what happens if you try to slice it while it’s hot?
That’s too bad, because it is the best slice, when the bread is just out of the oven 🙂

It can be either sticky or crumbly. It needs to sit and cool to settle.
