Let the sunshine in!

20200407_141137

Hello Lovelies!

I just wanted to share the view from my at-home desk. Not working a lot, but working still. Things could be a lot worse for me…

Do you work from home too? What’s the view from your window today?

  1. Oh, such a beautiful sight! My bedroom windows end looking at the neighbor’s walls, and the office windows who should look at the street have thick metal protections, so I feel like I’m looking at my high-fenced garage through a cheese grater. When we first came to live here, it used to stress me a bit, now I got used to the advantage of watching the world while I’m almost invisible.

    1. Yeah I can imagine how that was hard at first, but I’m glad you found a silver lining to that odd view 😉 I have to enjoy the blue sky, because soon this tree will be full of leaves, and I won’t see anything anymore 😛

Btw, I love your nickname!! SteampunkCow, brilliant… so original 🙂

  2. Beautiful! The appearance of the spring sun is what will cure us all, not only physically, but emotionally and psychologically as well.

Here in Dallas, after about 2 solid months of rain and gray skies, the sun came out yesterday and today. Today the temperature got up to 91 (32.7 C). I guess summer’s here!

I haven’t been able to work from home. It’s been a little eerie working in a mostly-empty building. On the plus side, the commute has been very nice lately!

Glad you’re doing well. Hang in there!

    1. Oh, yeah, Biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii(bi)(bi)(bi)(bi)fffffffff! We need that sunlight badly. We’re still a long way until summer here (OMG 32,7 degrees?? *sigh*) but we’ll enjoy the first flowers blooming, and the birds coming back in the meanwhile 🙂

Please be cautious when you go to work, big bro… Working from home is not always the funnest thing, but at least you can’t come across some idiot that doesn’t believe this virus is dangerous, or someone who just doesn’t care about others… I really really want you to stay safe!

      *big big hugs* xx

      1. Hiya, Sis! You are so right about needing the sunshine. We get are getting it sporadically here in the land of perpetual summer, but I enjoy each and every day of sun I get. I even had to get out and mow the yards a few days ago! But it was nice being out in the sun and the breeze and listening to the birds.

I am being cautious when I am at work. Fortunately, they are enforcing social distancing, cleanliness, etc. So I am staying safe, and I hope you are too, Lil Sis!

        *Big hugs back!*

  3. Working from home since 15th March. I move to the garden stairs till the sun gets hot. Since summers are coming, it gets suffocating inside.
    That’s my view: https://randomnessinked.wordpress.com/2020/04/05/moments-46/
    That’s my irritating co-worker-https://randomnessinked.wordpress.com/2020/04/06/moments-47/

But I came here to share this— https://www.reddit.com/r/HumansBeingBros/comments/fw276o/so_i_sit_at_my_desk_all_day_and_do_school/
One of the comments says it’s from Denmark. So you know why I’m writing this comment 😀

    1. OMG dear Saumya, you gave me a good laugh with your reddit story!! What an awesome idea… I love it 🙂

I’m glad you also have a nice view from your temporary office! And I wonder what that unusual coworker does to be so annoying? 😉

      1. Yes, making friends like that is so cool.
Oh just roam around in my garden without permission. That’s distracting. What if she/he attacks me? :O I am just scared of being around animals 😛

    1. I can imagine… But oh boy do we need guardian angels like you on the front line! Thank you for all the people you help daily. I wish you were on our side of the border, because you’d get a (well earned) bonus on your paycheck.

Sending you my warmest thoughts so you stay safe…
