Another one gone…

Dear Lovelies,

Some of you have hopped into 2019 already.  Some of you are still celebrating, and some are getting ready for the countdown, or prepping up for the party.

There are still a couple of hours before we get there here, in Québec.

I am at the office (oh please, pick up your jaw, you’re not that surprised!) and I’ll go through the turn of years as I unlog from my telephone and computer.

This is my fourth Holiday season, since I opened The Cove… Oh how the time flies by! I wanted to skip the usual “Happy New Year” post, since there is already an insane amount of them online. I wanted to, instead, visit as many of your “Happy New Year” posts as possible, and share my good wishes directly in your inboxes.

But I remembered. Since year #1, I have always posted my hand written wishes in Danish. It is becoming my own little tradition, and I thought… Oh well. One more “Happy New Year” post will not break The Internets, right??

So, dear readers…

Wether you are brand new in The Cove, or you’ve been here for years… Wether you follow my whereabouts closely, or pop in every now and then… I wish you all a lovely new year! I wish you health, and happiness. I wish you peace in your heart, and inspiration tickling your fingers! I wish you, not what you want but what you so very dearly need…

2018 has been a year of great struggles, and of great joys. I know many of you have been riding the same roller coaster. It is now behind us, and I hope we all remember the lessons it taught us along the way.

Thank you for your support, and thank you for letting me peek into your lives through your blogs! Thank you for the visits, the “likes”, the “follows” and the many many kind and uplifting comments!

Here’s to another twelve months of experiencing this wild thing called “Life”!

You are most welcome, Candace 🙂 It is always a pleasure to help when I can… Btw, I am going to send the first envelope of things I gather for you in a couple of days… I should have done it long ago, but the Holidays have been crazy, and the post office is a long walk from home. But I haven’t forgotten, it is coming 🙂

  3. Well I’m sorry you’re stuck at work. I just finished my last cigar of 2018 and now counting the hours. Thanks for the love and support over a very trying 2018. It’s been noticed.

  4. you are always at work on new year’s eve…i blame your boss..the old fuss-budget doesn’t even know what a jewel he has in you, does he? I wish for you a wonderful trip to Denmark, a date with Mads, and as many moose as you can smuggle into Oklahoma just cause I might want one……..love you!

    1. Dear Suze, you are too kind!! Cheri was also working, so it didn’t really matter if I got home at midnight. It just gave a friend and colleague the chance to celebrate when I wouldn’t have been myself 😉

      A trip to Denmark AND a date with Mads? If that ever happens (even if I have to wait for 2020), you’ll get as many mooses as you can keep in your backyard 😛 I bet your little neighbour would like to have a petting zoo next door!! Hehehehe
