As some of you might know already, every month I get to work the dreaded 5h00 am shift for a weekend. So this morning, I was up and getting ready for a new day of pure fun at 4h00! Yay!
Normally, my jukebox posts are about just one tune, unless I have two songs about the same singer/band. But this morning, I am just unable to choose, and although my two picks are totally unrelated, I decided to share them both.
We’re starting with the first song I heard when I turned on the radio today… I tend to be influenced by the first thing I hear in the morning, so I am guessing this should be a good day overall… I like Imagine Dragons in general, but this piece is especially spirit lifting, and I can’t help a little butt wiggling when it is playing!
Next is… Yes, my current earworm. I even mentionned it in a story yesterday. Now I am not one who sings out loud very often, because I am very considerate of other people’s ears, but I’ve been humming this song pretty much everywhere I went the past couple of days. and let me tell you that Yusuf & I do a pretty amazing duet (in my head, LOL) (a musical duet, that is… then again… LOL)

I love him too… I really hope I get to see a show live, before he stops performing on stage. Geez I should have discovered him waaaaay before. I mean, the name was always familiar, and I knew a couple of his songs, but I should have gotten to know his music more way earlier in my life!
It was a long day yesterday… Worked from 5h to 14h30, and then spent the afternoon and evening out with my bestfriend 🙂 It was a lot of fun!

Actually I think he has just come out of years of hibernation to perform again. He found his new religion and devoted himself to that and now I guess he realized what he had been m missing all those years. I love all his old stuff 😊

Yeah, I did know Cat Stevens became Yusuf (there’s a nice youtube with him and Eddie Vedder, btw). I’ve just never heard this particular song.
