I noticed something, and it might be a coincidence… But I think not.
I admit my theory revolves around a restraint number of subjects, but still, I think there is a connection! I think there is a mysterious phenomenon happening in Denmark.
From my (little) experience of Danes, it seems that after puberty, they age up really quickly, to make young men and women look more mature… And then, they stop aging for a while, until it is time to let life do its job… As if the universe wanted to keep them in the best form and appearance the longest possible…
I take for it my Danish tutor who looks way more mature than his age would normally allow. I would gladly post a picture to prove my words, but that would be incredibly rude…
Pippa is in the early “not aging” stage of her life… She is so beautiful and fresh, I can’t wait to see how long she’ll stay that way. I give her 20 years before time starts showing on her face! But here again, you’ll have to take my word for it, because I can’t see the point of changing her name, if it is to show her picture the next day!
Jonas is in the middle of that stage, and in person, it is even more obvious. I had weird uncomfortable feelings thinking of how sød he was before learning he was 40 years old! I just can’t believe it… I thought he was in his early 30s, to the most…
Mads is slowly getting out of the “unaging” stage. Just turned 50, he had to start getting little eye wrinkles here and there, but hey! There’s a limit at not aging! And he does it so well!
I know… Nothing scientific yet… But I’ll do more research when I get kicked out of Canada and have a chance to ask to be welcome as a refugee in Denmark. Promise!
