Yum!! I am a bit confused, though. Being Canadian, I am guessing that Canadian bacon is our usual bacon. But I really wonder what non-Canadian bacon looks (and tastes) like 😛
I don’t know why they call it Canadian bacon, to be honest with you. It looks and tastes similar to ham, although my farmer friend (from whom I buy all of our pork) tells me that it isn’t ham and doesn’t even come from the same part of the pig as ham. All is I know it’s delicious on pizza, and also in grilled cheese sandwiches. I’ve even been known to chop it up and throw it in potato soup.
My answer today is likely different to what it would be tomorrow because I love variety…but I made a veggie passanda this week which was oh so delicious…and I also made a lasagne with roasted veggies and butternut squash, a slightly different recipe than I have used in the past which was out of this world.
One of my go-to meals is veggie lasagne, salad, and a slice of garlic bread…but I love spicy dishes – Thai food hits so many boxes, and I love Tex-Mex as an indulgent option and I also love traditional roasts.
Honestly…I don’t think I can pick one meal…which is why I just need to go on living forever.

Good pick, Paula 🙂 The classic homemade version, or with a fancy twist?
