I was invited (well, not personally, but still…) to join the Fandango’s Friday Flashback!
Fandango scrolls back, every Friday, and gives a second chance to a post he had published on the same date, years before. I thought it was a great way to remember some of the stuff I did a while back, and I decided to participate…
So here it is!
Written on April 22nd of 2020, here is a humorous post about the absurdities of living during the (first) lockdown. Note that this was barely one month into this world pandemic… You can imagine how things have spiraled down, since. LOL
It doesn’t happen often, but I had two posts I really wanted to use for this week’s FFF. I chose this one, but if you are more in the mood for a litte romantic poetry, you can always click here. I hope you’ll enjoy it (again), and I wish you’re safe and well, wherever you are…

Yesterday JoyRoses posted her weekly Tuesday’s Thoughts. The first one gave me a good giggle… Here it is (borrowed from her post)
Joy mentionned that she hoped none of us had started counting rice grains yet. I thought no one would ever try that, it was just too absurd.
Until this afternoon.
See, at home we have two types of spaghetti. Plain and whole wheat. And for some reason, even if we have two separate containers, Chéri had mixed both types in the same one.
Now, plain and whole wheat spaghetti don’t require the same cooking time. And sorting spaghetti just before dinner time is a torture, so… (you see where I’m going, right?)
Yes… I ended up sorting all the dang spaghetti! And that’s when I thought about Joy’s post again. Was I being that pathetic?
I guess so.
And I did a really good job, no matter how pathetic and boring it was…
Oh, and I heard whispers in the back of the room. Don’t worry, I wash my hands so many times everyday that they rarely get dry.
Happy lockdown time, everyone!!

This made me laugh again! I was confused at first for I thought you were reposting my Tuesday’s post from this week and then I saw 2020 and I was like Whoa! LOL! Thanks for the repost and memory flash!

Oh Joy! It made me laugh again too!! I wonder what 2-years-ago-me would have thought if I had told her that we’d be in this crazy state for another two full years… Better to laugh about it, right?? LOL

Forget about the wheat, just buy regular and no sorting ever again

LOL Wise advice…. Unfortunately, Chéri has a thing for whole wheat, for some reason. I guess I’ll just have to get used to it 😛
