I don’t hate. I may dislike things and even strongly disagree with something but I do not allow hate in my energy. While raising my daughter I forbid her to say hate and shut up. Those words are cruel and unnecessary. In my opinion hate is revengeful and damaging. It’s an extreme I believe we can live without.
I think it has been said, but indifference, apathy or callousness when it comes to terrible things is really very concerning.
It can be hard because of course we don’t like to think of hating people. But we ought to hate terrible actions. We ought to hate cruelty, abuse, violence. It is worrying that some seem to have had their consciences dulled to these terrible things, and I do believe that entertainment/computer games have contributed to that.
Others have seen that I am very comfortable using words that many find highly offensive. But I draw the line at hate – it is the ugliest word in the English language.
I prefer not to hate but there are some things that I hate to see. Most of what is happening in Ukraine , the abuse of human lives. I hate to see that.

Yes. We should hate terrible things, not just shrug in indifference…

Yes, but depending on what is for, should depend on whether you let it keep burning

It has a use, most of the time to externalise our feeling to something or someone we really don’t like but equally the issue could be us 🙂
