I can honestly say I do not put any energy into holding grudges . People who have done me wrong somehow always get done in by Karma. True! It has happened several times to various people.
My philosophy is: Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. So if I give someone a second chance and they screw it up, you bet I hold a grudge.
I try my best not to hold a grudge. It’s not a healthy thing to do. If you hold a grudge you are giving it emotional and mental energy that keeps it alive. Best thing to do is to starve it of any feelings or thought.
I used to, but not anymore (at least I try not to). Somehow at some point I realized I wasn’t holding a grudge, but the grudge was holding on to me. It was time to walk away
There’s a big difference between holding a grudge and learning from your mistakes. If someone screws me over, I will never trust that person again, but I won’t hold a grudge. Nursing a grudge is a waste of time and energy. Failing to learn from experience is just plain foolish.
Yep. It’s a survival tactic. I don’t want to forget who hurt me and why… else I might trust them again!

Not really…but some things can never, nor should they, be forgotten. Fool me once…😏

I did. But, I think I am getting better at not doing so however staying in contact with people that hurt you is not healthy.
