If we are talking about sport, I don’t care who wins…it’s all about a good game to me,
But in real life, I am always sensitive to an “underdog” and if I think anyone is being picked on or belittled etc – I will be right there supporting them.
The word ‘root’ has a rather different meaning in the Australian vernacular which gives the question a different slant. With that in mind it should be suffice to say that most single males, of a certain age, after 10 beers on a Saturday night, would heavily favour the sure thing.
Underdog 🙂

Underdog but it also depends on what the competition is.

I agree… I usually go for the underdog, but if my team or my favorite competitor is the safe bet, it’s all for the best 😛
