  1. WOW! Such a great, and profound question. As much as I would love to say yes, I really don’t think it can. Man is a creature of free will, and often that free will leads us to evil, sad to say. Unfortunately, so many people today do NOT understand that evil actually does exist, and as much as we hate to admit it, or don’t want to believe it, there are bad and evil people in the world. There always has been and there always will be. We also cannot truly appreciate all the good we have if we have nothing bad or “evil” to compare it too.

  2. There was a time when there was no evil. But one intelligent creature, who was created perfectly, started to harbour wrong thoughts and eventually acted on them. He wanted what did not belong to him – to be glorified and worshiped, he was not content – he preyed on less experienced intelligent creatures – the first two humans and misled them. He introduced evil to the universe, and along with it tremendous pain and suffering.

But all of the damage he has caused will be fixed by our Creator – the perfect judge, who will judge the original liar and slanderer and take his life away forever. Already our Creator has paid the price to restore the human family and this planet.

We live in a time when the extent of wickedness and corruption riddled throughout politics, commerce and religion is becoming clearly manifest. The scriptures show that we are living in a dramatic time in human history, and that soon, some of the major entities in society today will be on the brink of committing an act of injustice that provokes our Creator to wage what the Bible calls the battle of Armageddon. It is the war when our Creator removes wickedness, and preserves peaceable people who love what is good.

Then while governed by God’s Kingdom – there is a a huge clean up assignment to get on with. Adam and Eve were asked to make this planet a paradise like the garden of Eden. We will be able to work together to fulfil that wonderful assignment and make this earth as special as our Creator intended. Then one of the most thrilling moments in all human history, as our Creator in an organised way awakens those who have died since Adam and Eve rejected life under their Creator’s guidance.

There will be a lot of work to do – education and providing accommodation and assignments for all. Hearts will be healed now that they are free of the crushing effects of a corrupt, cruel and oppressive system. The earth will become physically a paradise and it’s creatures will feel truly secure and healthy.

There will be a time when this universe is at peace again.

But it shows the potential that we have as intelligent creatures. We all have to choose. The universal issue being answered on our planet is profound and yet simple. Who is best to rule? The originator of evil lied. He accused our Creator of being a bad ruler, of not wanting what is best for us. He said that humans would be better off ruling themselves without our Creator’s authority. The history books record the results of that slander. Mankind has injured each other, driven many forms of wildlife to extinction, effected the very climate of the planet, caused suffering on a truly wicked scale, genocide, ethic cleansing, nuclear weapons, terrorism, pedophilia, domestic violence, slavery, harassment, racism, sexism, and even during a Pandemic some that humans can get themselves out of any scrape!

Yet our Creator dignifies us with a choice. He only wants to rule by love. He will act with great power when He sees significant parts of this system gearing up to commit an atrocious act of evil. He says that at that moment, it will be as if they are touching His eyeball. He has the power to remove evil. He knows how to restore the damage. But He is a God of love, a God who is wise and just. He wants people to choose to do good, to do what is right. But He will not tolerate evil forever, for to do so would be unloving. It is impossible for God to lie. The scriptures make it very clear God is love – He will remove evil.
