I wouldn’t want to do that. Why not experience a new day everyday!

I like your way of thinking 🙂 We really should take each new day as a gift, but I still have moments when I wish I could revisit great moments of my past 😉

Thanks Cranny! I’m not a big fan of visiting the past. Maybe because I have memory issues!!😅

I have a couple – one of them was when I was first involved with someone I fell utterly in love with. We spent one really glorious afternoon together, and for that few hours, life was PERFECT. It would be gratifying to relive that a few times, to have the energy, the confidence, and the feeling of security. Alternatively, I wouldn’t mind revisiting some of the days I lived in what has become a sort of rosy Eden for me, it’s always Springtime, my little dog Beni is young and active, and with me, I had a gorgeous yard there, with lots of fruit trees, flowers and although I didn’t realize it at the time, it remains one of the most idyllic places I’ve ever lived. Of course, I realize that hind-sight gives both those a rosy glow.

I totally understand you… I have a couple of these precious days, I sometimes wish I could revisit on demand. Even if it was just in a dream. Some feelings just can’t happen twice in a lifetime, I think.

Maybe tomorrow.

That would certainly give you the opportunity to live a very, very long life! Would you really want that? 😉

I probably should have nominated today because what I am trying to say is that days, no matter how special, should only ever be lived once, and the past must be left at peace in the past – to be enjoyed forever, but only as a memory.
Nobody can experience yesterday any more than they can experience tomorrow. Everything is today. Isn’t that exciting?
You were probably looking for a more lighthearted response.

The day that my husband and I decided to make a life together and to start a family. We kept laughing like a couple of ninnies but it was just such an overwhelming feeling of happiness.
