I was invited (well, not personally, but still…) to join the Fandango’s Friday Flashback!
Fandango scrolls back, every Friday, and gives a second chance to a post he had published on the same date, years before. I thought it was a great way to remember some of the stuff I did a while back, and I decided to participate…
So here it is!
Previously published on December 18th of 2019, here is a piece of poetry inspired by a lovely picture a friend sent me. I hope you’ll enjoy this (again). And where ever you are, stay safe and well!
I love your
Fifty shades of grey
When the sea meets
The land with force
Fury,
Flirting dangerously on
The fine line between
Love, and hate.
Where do I stand?
Feet buried in your sand,
Cheeks whipped by
Your salty winds…
Quiet referee
Of your inner feuds
All is not pretty but
There’s beauty to be found
In every mile of your coast!
Even worlds apart,
I’m just a whisper away…
I just love your
Fifty shades of grey!
Special thanks to my good friend Jan, who feeds me incredible sights of my beloved Denmark almost daily. The above picture is a kind gift from him.

This is a lovely poem, shows your love of the ocean and the beach.
