This morning, my April 1st Danceathon took place for a first time. Tonight, I’ll be hosting a second, as previously planned.
My first experience was such a positive boost, that I decided to make this a daily event, for as long as I’ll be stuck at home. Why? Well, let’s see…
- I don’t get a whole lot of exercise, walking from my bed to the couch, and back again. Two short sessions of dancing will be a nice way to stay more active, even if I can’t get out of our apartment.
- Dancing and singing along an up beat song is great for shaking off the Corona-blues…
- Even if only one person joins me on the virtual dancefloor, it’s a nice way to make a connexion and feel close to you!
- It’s a lot of fun. Period.
I won’t post about this everyday… But if you take a look at the header menu in The Cove, you’ll find a link to Cyra’s Daily Danceathon. Each morning, I’ll post the day’s song, and I’ll host the dancing sessions at 10 am and 10 pm, Montréal time.
