I was invited (well, not personally, but still…) to join the Fandango’s Friday Flashback!

Fandango scrolls back, every Friday, and gives a second chance to a post he had published on the same date the year before. I thought it was a great way to remember some of the stuff I did a while back, and I decided to participate…

So here it is!

Previously published on March 27th of 2019, here’s a short poem. Looking back, it seems like March 27th isn’t a good date for blogging for me. I skipped this date in 2016, 2017 AND 2018!! I hope you’ll enjoy this one (again). And I do hope that all of you are safe, where ever you are, in the world!

Oh, midnight sun
My dearest one
Once filling day and night
With your unique, eternal light.

I reveled in your glare
Dance in your glow
Let down and freed my hair
Gave you the eyes of a doe…

You taught me true happiness
My heart swiftly hijacked
But what Life gives,
Soon Life takes back!

That fatal evening
You jumped over the horizon
And the next thing
What can I say, you were just gone…

My dearest one,
