π I respect that… I’m in the minority most of the time. I know how that is. I won’t force feed you stuff you don’t like π Stay strong with your convictions, Sonofa-Cha-Cha!
Interesting… I must say, it’s a song I do enjoy, but I’ll make sure they don’t play it if you invite me again for a fancy dinner in Greenland π Last time was quite memorable *wink wink*
I will certainly invite you for a second trip to Grreenland. It appears that we were so busy doing things that we forgot to log onto WP and give ourselves a visit for our stats. π
Aouch, yes, that’s a popular one too… And it doesn’t seem to grow old. You probably had your good share of eye rolling and sighing since it came out π
Iβm not sure about Denmark. But I have a general objection on principle to the concept of national anthems. And flag waving. I am anti nationalism I suppose. Although I am happy to say good (and bad) things about Australia and I do not shy away from being Australian (and show unbridled bias in support of national sports teams) I do not suggest for a moment that this land is intrinsically better than anyone elseβs.
I find it hard not to like a hit from a band I love (I LOOOOVE Bon Jovi, but I really feel nothing listening to ”Bed of roses” which everyone else seem to adore). But I think it is a sign that you are not biased π
I am always scared to say this…but it took me a long time to warm to “The Shape Of You” by Ed Sheeran. My friends loved the song. It was a huge hit here, but for some reason I couldn’t get into it, although I like a lot of other Ed Sheeran songs. Everytime I heard it, I thought about Moto Moto from Madagascar 2:
Hahahahahahaha I have never seen Madagascar 2… But I enjoyed the clip. I must say ”The shape of you” had me rolling my hips the first time I heard it, but I can understand how it doesn’t resonate with you.
This hasn’t been a hit here, it was actually the first time I heard the song. I must say, even if everyone arround had been all excited about it, I would have been on your side. Not aweful, but not really worth a second hearing π
Walking on Sunshine by Katrina and the Waves. I once had to listen to it through my bedroom wall all night as the neighbours teenage kid played it non-stop, adding her own voice… All Night!!!
OMG, no wonder you can’t stand it now! All night long? Poor you, that’s almost like that scene in Clockwork Orange’s Beethoven scene… That’s pure torture!
LOOOOOOOOL I understand you… When it first came out (and everybody was all excited about it) I just couldn’t stand it. Now I can listen to it without grinding my teeth, but it still isn’t anywhere near my top ten songs ever π
LOL! I’m so “Happy” to hear that you feel the same way. I thought I was really abnormal for not liking it. π
Heck, that song never even came close to my top 100 songs. LOL! π
O-M-G! I agree… but especially since, for some reason, Christmas songs started being played in November… Come on! How early do we need to be in the Christmas spirit??
Anything by Def Leppard or REO Speedwagon. π

Really, anything by Def Leppard? I’d be tempted to try to change your mind with some less than well-known tunes… LOL
