Yes. I do believe that we have have choices. Some are easier than others, but the harder ones are worth fighting for.
It took me several years to break alcoholism, but I did it. My life was an utter struggle for many, many moons, and all the work that went into surviving Hell, was worth the choices I finally made.

The lives we lead are BECAUSE of the choices we make, good or bad. I definitely believe this.

Of course, unless youβre in the military or prison. Or some nutbag cultsβ compound. But, anyway, thereβs always consequences…regardless of choice.

There are some things in which we don’t really have a choice. We don’t get to choose our parents (I have amazing parents anyway) nor where we are born and grew up.
But as we grow older, yes, I do think there are more and more and more ways we have choices, and we should take responsibility for that and accept that our choices will have consequences, sometimes life-long ones. We should be happy with our choices.
Hmm…I started writing my answer before I really thought about this question! I think we have a lot of choice, but perhaps there are a small number of areas where we don’t really have a choice…I can’t think of what they are off the top of my head though!

Yes, I believe we always do have a choice. Sometimes the choices aren’t obvious, sometimes they’re not tenable, sometimes one seems better than the other…but free will exists.

I believe that we do – but our choices are sometimes hard or scary
