If you can look
A pearl of pain
Straight in the eyes,
As it leaks,
Liquid sorrow seeping
From her crushed
Cotton candy heart
Down her flushed
Burning cheek…
And not want
To offer a shoulder to cry on.

    1. Thank you, Beckie 🙂 The connexion between the picture and the poem is a bit far stretched, but these rain drops looked so much like tears to me… I had to go with it. Was your ex-fiancé a cold-hearted man?? Good thing he is an ex, if it is so. You deserve someone loving and caring!! xx

      1. Yeah, you could say that. Because he didn’t understand my mental illness, I was kicked out and left homeless. We were together for nearly 8 years, and he had two divorces prior to us meeting… I should have seen those red flags, but I was a massive idiot.
        Lessons learned, no more men allowed. LOL!

      2. Maybe you shouldn’t close the door definately… But I get how tempting it must be. It is very sad to find out that the person closest to us (suposedly) doesn’t understand us the least bit. *big hugs* Lady

    1. Thank you, Anne! It is very heartwarming to read such kind comments… People might tend to forget, but aside from blogging, I don’t use English much in my everyday life. This Frenchy girl often doubts before hitting the ”publish” button. This kind of positive feedback gives me a lot of confidence, and frees my mind of the worries of just sounding silly. I really appreciate it! xx
