Who, dead or alive, would you like to have as a mentor?
I am not the first blogger to start a ”Question of the day” series. I used to participate to Danny’s Let me ask you a question posts regularly, but since he has almost stopped pubishing them, I thought I’d give it a go. We’ll see if I stick to it, depending on the answers I get!
That is a good question. I can’t think of anyone specifically but I think it would be wonderful to have a rosemaler or a linguist.

Oh! Nice picks, Sonofa! I didn’t know Ansel Adams, and while Googling him, I noticed his Yosemite Park work… Wow. That place is on my bucket list of places I need to see from my eyes before I die, so I’d say ”pick him!!!” LOL

Oh yes, his shots from out west are iconic. If you haven’t been to Yosemite, I highly recommend it. It’s stunning. 😃

Nice pick, Barb 🙂 Is there a reason in particular, or do you simply admire the man’s work?

Admiration of his work, but I also like him because he had bipolar, which I can relate to.

Oooh, interesting 🙂 May I ask why exactly?

He’s published and successful and I find his book “On Writing” to be THE book for newbie authors. Plus I just think he’d be cool to talk to AND I know he’s mentored other ‘newbie’ authors as well. Maybe I should start pestering him? Nah. Stalkers are never cool. 😛

I didn’t know he mentored other authors, that’s pretty cool of him! I had not heard of the book “On Writing” either, but I’ll try to check it out, because I’d be very curious to read his tips…. He is extremely talented 🙂
I think you should find another way to catch his attention, although he might find it flattering if you play it the “Misery” way 😛 LOL
Thanks for sharing the infos, Melanie… very interesting!!
