So, what’s up?

Good evening Lovelies,

Just a short note, not that I feel it is necessary. But since I am pretty quiet, I wanted to let those who could be wondering (thank you for the concern, if you did), know that I am doing ok. I am just still caught in real life’s tribulations.

I’m not going to go into details. It’s of no interest for you, anyway. I know many of you are struggling these days, and my exhaustion is nothing in comparison… I just don’t want to post just anything that might go through my mind, just for the sake of posting.

I have decided to dedicate tomorrow’s (little) free time to answering your many messages of the past two or three days. I’ll try to catch up on my reading a bit too, but I can’t promise I’ll manage to do both.

My “Nombril de Semaine” post is scheduled for tomorrow morning. The next episode of Cibelle & Vohne is ready in the back of my mind, and I have a couple of other things coming, but I just have to get my hands on a few hours of much needed silence to lay them on the keyboard.

Again, I know this was by all means not necessary. The Bloggosphere goes on just fine without me, but I just wanted to point out that I am not ignoring any of you.

Thank you for your kind patience…

    1. Thank you, Sandra… I really appreciate! I am sure a couple of days of taking things easy will help a whole lot. I just need to give myself a break πŸ˜‰

Don’t worry about being behind with reading… No one will hold that against you! πŸ™‚ One less thing to worry about, Gorgeous πŸ™‚ xx

    1. So true… I just got so used to post several times a day, that when I don’t have time to write, I get nervous. I start rushing everything to make some time to blog, but then, I find myself all stressed out in front of the keyboard. Which is not good either πŸ˜› I just gotta learn to sit back and be confident that a day or two of break is not a terrible thing πŸ˜›

Thank you for your support, it’s always great to read you πŸ™‚ xx

    1. Thank you, Anne πŸ™‚ You are right, and I just need to realize that I don’t need to stress out when I must focus on life instead of writing.

I hope Biasini has fully recovered now! It must have been quite a scare for you to see him not feeling well like that… *Hugs* from the East πŸ˜‰

    1. Thank you Biff! I do feel better this morning. Allowing myself to spend a no-posting day takes a load of pressure off my shoulders today.

It might not look like it, but coming up with 2 or 3 posts a day is a lot of work, even if I enjoy it. Letting my imagination muscle rest a bit can’t be a bad thing… And let’s face it, I know myself. I’ll probably jump on the keyboard tomorrow morning, as if nothing had happened πŸ˜›

      *Big hugs*

      1. I’m glad you’re feeling better. Everyone needs to take some off time now and then. We can definitely wear ourselves out going 90-to-nothing for too long.

Hope to see you posting again soon!

        *Big hugs back*

      2. I kept busy today, but I must say that not having the stress of “having” to release anything has helped a lot… I’ll probably be back to my good ol’ blogging self within a couple of days πŸ™‚

      3. Oh my! Did you talk to CalmKate? You’re the second one to pop me this big word this week! (fan)

But rest assured, I have plans for my VIP Cove visitors πŸ™‚ I am not someone who dreams about a big house (too much work) or luxuries such as a fancy car, or jewels, or expensive clothes… But I have crazy dreams… πŸ™‚

  1. hey you set a cracking pace, time to ease up as nobody can do everything and life often distracts. Take your time we wont go too far … look at me I take months off at a time πŸ™‚

    1. After 2 and a half years of doing this blogging thing, it’s such a habit, that I get a bit stressed out when “real” life gets in the way… But you are right, the Bloggosphere will wait if I need to be elsewhere for a while πŸ˜‰

      1. Wooo.. using big words there, dear Kate… (first time I see the word “fan” in The Cove”, you caught me off guard :P) But I get your point, and you are right πŸ™‚ xx

      2. I like complimenting people, and I find it sad when they refuse them…. So I make it a point to accept compliments, even if it is with a big blush of the cheeks (like now πŸ™‚ )

  2. Of Cyranny I have not heard
She hasn’t said a bloody word
So every night I mope and pine
    Mixing teardrops with my wine
    Mixing dreams with forlorn hope
For I am a romantic dope
I cannot tell her how I feel
For fear that she may think me real
So I will miss her. Just a bit.
But it’s OK. I’ll sleep on it.

    1. I’ll make sure not to wander away too long… There are much more interesting ladies around, and I wouldn’t want to give you a chance to notice πŸ˜‰ Because even if they’re just words, I’d sure miss yours, and I could get jealous if I saw them around another woman’s neck πŸ˜‰

    1. Thank you, Mack πŸ™‚ No worries, though… Things are not going bad, I just seem to have too much on my plate at the moment, and my head is not keeping up. *Big hugs* Gorgeous πŸ™‚ xx

    1. Mouahahahaha… I think about it everyday! no surprise there… But the Summer will not be an ideal time to try to fly away as we’ll be be short on staff already most of May, June, July and August…. We’ll see in autumn, or maybe next spring, but that sounds painfully far away!

    1. Thank you Dee! And don’t worry about being a bit behind… If anyone is, it is me!! LOL

Unfortunately, we got bad news at work today… A person of our department is going through surgery this coming Tuesday, and will be away for at least a month… Meaning many overtime hours to come. I could have done without it, but I’ll just make sure to make the most of the reduced days off… I just need to adjust.

Thank you for your concern… I really appreciate it! *big hugs*

      1. *Hugs* right back at you, Dee πŸ™‚

I’ll see how things turn up… If it doesn’t get better, I guess I’ll have to sit with the big boss to discuss this overload issue, or simply look for something else.

Or I’ll win the lottery…. Yeah, I could do that too πŸ˜›
