She spoke
I heard her say
something, I wanted to hear
She sighed,
I imagined, she wanted to leave me
something,
I dreaded to hear
She stretched
her arms out,
until they encompassed me
she sighed a sigh
and told me
that I was the best thing
that ever happened to her
and that she feared,
losing me to another-
She reflected
the insecurities
of loving someone
like we did
with each other
She spoke, then
I spoke, and we
reassured each other
that the good times
were yet to come
with each other…
Openly vulnerable loving. Thanks for sharing.
