to be perfect…
Perfect is too much
responsability to bear,
too much worries,
too much weight
on my weak shoulders…
I just want to be
better…
A little better,
everyday, a little
bit, little by little.
Just a better version of me,
getting better tomorrow
and the day after…
Just better…

Lovely poem and it is so true. Perfect is hard to achieve and in many instances it is impossible – everything within you and around you has to be perfect in order for things to be perfectly perfect. But we can never control what’s happening around us. It’s something I’m learning as I’m writing my first book…each draft and each chapter is never perfect, and sometimes I have to just write, even if it doesn’t make sense, to make some progress 🙂
