I love kindness…

But sometimes, when I look around, I feel like we could use a lot more of it. Each and everyone of us.

Over the years, I’ve tried to spread some, whenever I get the chance to. And if you’re familiar with my little Cove, you know that I’ve made sure to promote cheap and easy ways to be kind with your own surroundings…

I’ll never get tired of good deeds, sweet thoughts and nice surprises…

Never.

Tonight, as I was walking in my neighbourhood in the middle of a snowstorm, I struggled like when you walk on a sandy beach. Until I came to a street corner and noticed what you can see on the picture above.

Someone had shoveled a trail for pedestrians, going from one one street corner to the next, for no apparent reason, if not just to make it easier to make our way from point A to point B, until the city-workers cleared the sidewalks…

How feckin’ selflessly kind, wouldn’t you say?

I LOOOOOVED IT!

This is Kindness at its best, my Lovelies! And I needed to find a way to express my gratitude. So I carved a big ”Thank you” (Merci, in French) in the snowbank in front of their house.
