Great idea about the ice packs, can’t believe I didn’t think about it. We only have AC in our bedroom (and I will enjoy it greatly tonight) but we try to cope with fans in the living room in the meanwhile ๐ Thanks for sharing!
When you have MS you have to learn a lot of tricks, but the ice packs are the best for rapid cooling. Running cold water over pulse points works also, just not as fast.
If you sew you can make a rice pack and put it in the freezer also. Probably can find one on Amazon, but since I sew all the time I usually make them. Don’t overfill, just make a tube long enough to fit around your neck, put in the rice or something that isn’t too bulky. close the opening and pop in the freezer. It holds the cold for a while and doesn’t drip. We’ve been in the upper 90’s for several weeks now with rain thrown in for good measure. I think parts of Kentucky are becoming swamp land these past few years. Under flood watches and warnings almost all the time.
Stay indoors and read a book.

That’s usually pretty close to what I do, but today we settled with going to the movie theater… The AC was nice for 2 and a half hours ๐

LOL I’m starting to consider it… And I have a feeling Chรฉri wouldn’t mind, but I wouldn’t want neighbours to be able to see me like that ๐
