A long time ago i worked on a tv mini series that had Bette Davis in a deathbed scene. She looked at the person in the scene with her and said:” Working in movies like this are going to bring my death a lot closer!” Needless to say that was not in the script!
Well … I have been on my deathbed actually, and my parents and my girlfriend of the time apparently came to say goodbye (nobody else turned up, as far as I can tell) and then, a couple of days later, they came back to say hello again. I wish the whole tragic scene could have been videotaped, so I could play it again on my next death bed and remember how much people used to like me.
