It’s already been three weeks since Chéri and I traveled back home after our amazing second (for him) and fifth (for me) tour around Denmark.
As I mentionned in previous posts, the return to Montréal is always followed by a period of blues. This time didn’t differ. Physically, my batteries have recharged, and I am more focused and patient at work, but I badly miss my Danish fix, e-ve-ry-day.
A couple of days back, my Danish teacher, Sigga, emailed me to announce that the advanced beginner’s class subscriptions were open, at long last. I took a couple of days to think about it, but knowing how much I enjoyed my first set of lessons with her, I signed in for a second round.
It is still beginner’s level, but it is a step forward to having my Danish friends make fun of my ridiculous accent, while chit-chating. And who knows? I might get lucky during this learning process, and get adopted by Her Majesty Margrethe II (most probably granting me the right to become a lawful Danish citizen – Please don’t google Danish immigration laws, just let me dwell on that thought).
So, yes… As of tomorrow, I’ll be embarking a brand new learning journey that will, hopefully, kill my back-home blues.
Wish me luck with both 😉
I’m sure you will accomplish whatever you choose to do.👍🏻❤️
