Absolutely. Many of them over the years. It’s my guarantee that I’m not completely dead inside. But it’s easy to have a crush on a cute worker. Much harder to maintain one after a conversation with them. Although, that has happened too. But I’m me, and if the crush lasts pasts three convos, I straight up tell them, “you’re absolutely adorable, sweet, funny, and enjoyable to talk to. You’re the stuff that work-place crushes are made of.” Usually I get a giant smile because they think that by me saying that it means it’s not me. And having said it gives me the freedom to just let it go. So it’s a win-win.
