Good evening Lovelies,
This is going to be short, but I felt like it needed to be shared tonight.
In my ongoing quest to put kindness forward, as often as I can, and to prove that anyone can make a little difference in this world, I discovered something amazing this morning.
Freerice is an initiative of the United Nations. Running since 2007, the website offers an educational online game where you earn 10 grains of rice for every right answer. The rice adds up as you play, and sponsers provide the funds to change the virtual rice into actual donations that are delivered around the globe.
I just love the concept. And I intend on spending a little time, every day, winning a little more rice for all the people that really need it, while improving my vocabulary.
In all honesty, at first I had doubts. Why would rich people feed the poor just because I play an online trivia game, right? But I trust that the UN wouldn’t let anyone link the serious organization to any hoax, especially after 16 years.
So if Freerice interests you, please let me know. Because we can create a group online and challenge ourselves to raise a certain amount of rice together. And I’d be glad to create such a group.
And feel free to offer group names in the comments.
So what do you say? Freerice, anyone?
Thanks, I used to play that. Just added it again with my games.

I was addicted to this last night and then I made ten mistakes – that’s what I get for. Ring overconfident. I had to stop but hope to get in with it again. Wonderful idea C!!
