I also have a recurring dream of finding a room in my house (or one of my previous houses) that I didn’t know was there. I like those dreams. The recurring dreams I hate usually have to do with school. I’ve been out of school for more than 45 years, but the nightmares persist. Sometimes there’s a course I’m signed up for but I haven’t been in class all semester and all of a sudden it’s time for the final exam and I can’t remember which classroom it’s supposed to be in. Or I get sent back to elementary or jr. high school because there’s some requirement I didn’t fulfill.
I frequently move home, always a home that bears no resemblance to anywhere I have lived in real life.

I often dream of finding a new room in the place where i live. It is never my actual home but in my dream I think it is my home.

I have the “home” dream too – big house, lots of rooms.
