My favorite chance encounter was with George Papard. I literally chest bumped him coming around a corner on my way to work. My first day on my new job with IBM in LA. I was walking from my hotel to the office and bumped into him at a blind corner.
My first love turned up in my shop 35 years since I last saw him. He had a tattoo which I rememvered it used to have my name in it, then followed that slow look up the body into his smiling face. Such a lovely encounter, just a few moments to catch up but it made me happy, it was lovely to know he was doing well.
